Today is Remembrance Sunday, when we remember the dead of the two great world wars; we pray for the peace of the world, and for all victims of warfare.

The second talk: What was it all about?   The development of  St Paul 's thinking and theology. Church Hall doors open at 7-30 pm; Talk & discussion start at 7-45 pm. We close with Night Prayer at 9-00 pm.

OUR LADY OF LOURDES, WHEATLEY sale of “Father John’s presents” will take place after Mass on Sunday 23 Nov. As this is to raise money for the Building Fund, Irish Coffee will also be on sale.  Also Christmas Raffle will be launched and be drawn on Sunday 21 Dec. after Mass. Please note dates and bring spending money!

 

SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION. Application Forms are available in our Churches. Please complete them and return them to Sr Marie Ann or Fr John.

Enrolment for First Confession, First Holy Communion & Confirmation will take place on Sunday 14thDec at the 9-00 am Mass.

 

Didier Delaplace (a former parishioner) would like to thank all who prayed for him.  His ordination on 19 Oct. as a permanent deacon in Grenoble went extremely well.
