Today Bishop William Kenney will be with us for the evening Mass at 6-30 pm to celebrate the sacrament of Confirmation. Please pray for all the young people who are to be confirmed, and for their families.

Sat 13th June is Philippine Independence Day – there will be a programme of activities based at the JR Tingewick Hall (see notice boards) with Mass at 11-00 am

 

Sun 14th is the Solemnity of Corpus Christi.

The intentions at all the Masses will be for vocations to the priesthood.

There will be a simple form of Benediction at the end of all Masses.

 

2-30 pm Corpus Christi Procession in Oxford begins at St Aloysius Church, stopping at Blackfriars, and going on to the Catholic Chaplaincy, where there will be light refreshments.  Please come to witness to our Faith!

 

On Sunday 28th June there will be a Mass at Oscott College (Birmingham) to mark the closure of the Year of St Paul and the beginning of the year of Priesthood. Archbishop Vincent will be the principal celebrant; there will be a presentation to him in thanksgiving for his nine years of service to the Archdiocese. Details on notice boards.

 

Set Dancing: Weds 8-10 pm in Corpus Christi Hall – learners welcome.
